Being fast is a natural ability. Some people are born faster, some slower. But in the end that doesn't mean anything. Speed can be developed through hard work. But, you have to be consistent, smart and knowledgeable about how you approach training.

To be fast, you have to be strong. Not bodybuilder strong and being big with no athleticism and mobility, but super athlete strong, having that functional strength. You have to be strong and light at the same time. The only way to understand this last sentence, is if you actually commit to the training necessary, to become a faster and more capable football player.

1. Get it out of the way

2. Add technique exercises to your sprinting training for variety
